Brown - one I have admired for some time and was not disappointed on going over him. Strong male head, excellent eye colour and pigmentation, nice broad jaw. Lovely neck on to correct front. Deep chest with correct shape and good length of rib. Super rear with balanced front and rear angulation, giving easy, balanced movement. In full coat. He just dominated the ring as he went round, and got better as he moved more, despite the heat. Delighted to award him the CC & BOB - P Fox.

Super top quality brown bitch who filled my eye as she entered the ring and did not put a foot wrong. Typical head with required flat skull & strong muzzle, excellent pigmentation. Good length of neck, beautifully angulated shoulders, correct ribcage, strong loin, nicely balanced hindquarters. Excellent overall balance and proportions. She used her excellent confirmation to full advantage on the move, covering the ground with easy long flowing strides to achieve maximum effect with minimum effort. Sometimes you get a surprise and this was mine, slate of 3 years one I have never noticed before, caught my eye standing and I hoped that she would move well, I was not disappointed. Good head & eye, correct shoulder & upper arm, nice strong rear, I was tempted to send her on the move again just to indulge myself, I thought she was excellent. Another that should always be in the frame for class honours, BCC -H Platt.

The star of the Show on the day. I have admired her many times from the ringside and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to judge her. Superb head with the most intelligent expression. Full of character, outstanding quality with perfect topline. Her presentation and showmanship could not be faulted and she flowed around the ring effortlessly with style and confidence. Awarding her the CC and with my co-judge and I agreeing on BOB was the highlight of my day. She looked stunning in the group I felt very proud of her and to win the group was a dream come true, what a memorable day for our lovely breed, we should all be very proud of Daisy - M Harkin.
Winner of the group was the bearded collie Ch Pattishawl Preview, very feminine and of outstanding breed type. I consider her quite pure, everything in place and nothing overstated, from nose to feet she possesses beautiful flowing lines enhanced by her quality coat. Her action was effortless particulary in the final run off when she swept around the ring in style with great carriage, congratulations - S Mallard.

Very attractive brown who possesses excellent breed characteristics. Beautifully balanced both when standing and moving. Keeps her topline parallel to the ground on the move, single tracks when viewed from front and behind. Won the CC in a very competitive line up due to her free, positive and effortless movement - D Anderton.
Edward came back to the ring in style at the Bearded Collie Club show in December 2006 winning CC & BEST IN SHOW.
The quality just got better and better and this mature brown boy ticked all the boxes. Correct head, eye tones with coat, good pigment, good reach of neck, good shoulder placement, deep well sprung rib of correct shape, well angled croup, good tailset and carriage. A beautifully balanced boy who covered the ground with ease my CC winner and Best In Show - J Wood.
